Arkansas State Medical Board Chairman in Critical Condition After Bombing in Memphis, Tennessee

The chairman of the Arkansas State Medical Board remains hospitalized in critical condition after a morning car bombing outside his West Memphis home.

Dr. Trent Pierce, 54, was first taken to a Memphis trauma center, before being transferred to a burn center in Ohio.

His wounds have been described as metal in the abdomen, eye injuries, facial fractures, and burns.

The bomb went off near the front of Pierce's car around eight o'clock in the driveway of his home along North Avalon Street.
