I am in favor of killing anyone who acts like they are in the process of committing a terror act, and I have ended two armed robberies by force of arms, and an attempted mugging with a knife.
Unfortunately, all three lived.
I have since upgraded to a 45 and rarely leave it at home.

If the street theater is anything like this video shot at UNCA, Yes! I would very quickly go through one magazine taking out targets that were taking hostages or possibly about to kill people.
I visit a gun range and participate in Close Quarters Battle training, and I can assure you...go through 7 targets in less than three seconds.
