Video and supporting documents for the full meeting is also online. [LINK]

The commissioners will be meeting again Tuesday the 21st of May to begin discussing the proposed budget for the coming fiscal year, which runs from July 1st to June 30th. The Board of Education, Highlands and Scaly Mountain Fire departments and the proposed Sheriff's budgets are currently scheduled for discussion at that meeting.

January 2019 Meeting of the Macon County Planning Board

Meeting Summary
Macon County Planning Board
Regular January 2019 Meeting

The Macon County Planning Board met last night in the Environmental Resource Center. The main order of business was the election of officers. Joe Deal and Aaron Garrett were re-elected as chairman and vice-chairman, respectively. The board also chose to keep meeting on the third Thursday of the month at 5 pm in the Environmental Resource Center on Lakeside Drive.

There was no other business to conduct and no new task had been assigned to them by the county commissioners, so the board adjourned a little over eight minutes after it had been called to order.

The next meeting of the board will be a 5 pm on Thursday, February 21, 2019, in the Environmental Resource Center located on Lakeside Drive.
