Outlook
A stationary front will become remain north and west of our area into Thursday. A steady southwest flow of warm and moist air will continue. Low pressure riding along the front may bring rain, especially to the mountains today into Thursday morning. A cold front will move through on Friday dropping temperatures for the weekend.

The Earth is beginning to exit a stream of solar wind that has been buffeting our planet's magnetic field since Jan. 31st. The stream is a wide one, so the exit will be slow. Solar wind speeds are expected to remain near 500 km/s through Feb. 4th, boosting the chances of Arctic auroras.
