Low pressure brings rain and scattered thunderstorms to our region today and tomorrow. Brief high pressure brings a mainly dry day on Thursday. Showers and scattered thunderstorms return Friday and into the weekend.

Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. A few of the storms could become severe with damaging winds and large hail the main threats. Isolated heavy rainfall is also possible.
