MACON COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Nantahala Community Library is moving to its newly renovated location. The week of July 15-20th the Nantahala Community Library will be closed to the public. During this time the library’s materials, furnishings and equipment will be packed and moved to the new location at 36B White Oak Lane in Topton. The library will reopen to the public at the new location on Monday, July 22nd. The library will operate with the same hours as the current location, Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The new location will offer all the same services and resources, including Wi-Fi, computer access, print and copy services, and access to print and digital materials for all ages.
Come celebrate the new library location and Fontana Regional Library’s 80th anniversary at an open house reception with refreshments on Tuesday, August 6th from 2-4 p.m. This will be followed by the Macon County Public Library’s Board of Trustees meeting at 4 p.m. The Nantahala Community Library is a member of the Fontana Regional Library System.
