GENERAL OUTLOOK

A cold front brings widespread light rain and some embedded thunder early today, before pushing to the east this afternoon. In the front`s wake, broad high pressure will spread over the region on Friday, bringing drier and much colder temperatures through early next week.

GENERAL FORECAST

HAZARDOUS WEATHER
Hazardous weather is not expected today or tonight.

An unseasonably cold airmass will spread over the area this weekend and linger thru early next week. Higher elevations of the mountains, generally above 3500 feet, will remain below freezing from Friday night through Tuesday. Elsewhere, a hard freeze is likely each night, with daily high temperatures mostly in the 40s.
