Weather Briefing for Wednesday, October 16, 2024

GENERAL OUTLOOK

Cold and dry high pressure will control our weather today and Thursday, bringing the risk of frost and freeze to the mountains, foothills, and portions of the Piedmont and Upstate tonight and Thursday night. As this high pressure moves off the East Coast at the end of the week, a southerly flow of air develops, resulting in a slow warming trend over the weekend and continuing into early next week.
