Obama's Gaffe: Making Ayers Main Stream News

American Issues Project Website

The conservative blogosphere is agog: what was Barack Obama thinking? He took a story largely confined to the internet, (only briefly raised in the primary) about Obama’s connection to former terrorist Bill Ayers, put it in his own ad, and then filed a claim trying to force the third-party 527 ad that first brought up the Obama-Ayers connection off the air. In the next 24 hours thousands if not millions of voters who never heard of or didn’t understand the extent of the Obama-Ayers relationship are going to get a full education.

Remember that Obama's friend William Ayers was unrepentant about his crimes...even in an interview published on the morning of September 11, 2001:

On September 11, 2001, A Story About William Ayers' Memoir Was Published In The New York Times; The Interview Occurred Prior To Publication. "'I don't regret setting bombs,' Bill Ayers said. 'I feel we didn't do enough.’ Mr. Ayers, who spent the 1970's as a fugitive in the Weather Underground, was sitting in the kitchen of his big turn-of-the-19th-century stone house in the Hyde Park district of Chicago." [New York Times, 9/11/01]

Wow. More B.S. from you.

Hannity and the right wing talkers have been pushing this non-story Swiftboating on Fox News, talk radio, and many other venues.

Obama hit back only in those markets where McCain's ad ran.

The voters won't get a "full education" if lying right wingers have anything to do with it.

I have been blogging about Obama and his terrorist and Communist friends ever since he announced...and I will continue to do so until the day he loses...

It's your conscience, TP.

If you want to peddle false witness, go for it.

It's liars vs. truthtellers in this election. For example:
