I'll bet that the machines will still look like something Punky Brewster would buy, and (if you're a girl) that's okay.

Guess what? There are no Apple laptops available for people who don't have a lot of money to throw around. Where is the Apple for the working stiff on a budget? This is kind of elitist, don't you think?
If you go look up elitist in the dictionary...you will find a photo of an over-priced, stylish looking Apple Computer with a user (often in touch with their feminine side) who just wants to be seen as a hip person. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just sad...
