There is nothing better than trolling through the email when I feel like death warmed over. I think I have the flu that everyone had in The Stand.
The lefty Donor-Siren™ is cranked up to full volume with the following email regarding Rush Limbaugh, who is their version of the boogie man:
Dear Friend,
Rush Limbaugh has no shame. That's clear after his latest outrageous and inappropriate remarks about Sen. Ted Kennedy's health.
Limbaugh keeps crossing the line because the best way to fire up the extremist base is to undermine and obstruct President Obama's agenda. And because he leads the rank-and-file, Limbaugh has 41 Republican senators willing to filibuster anything he wants.Thousands joined our action against Rush last week - thank you for standing with us. But there's one more way to make him irrelevant. Win that 60th seat and Rush can rant all he wants and it won't do any good.
Sixty seats requires recruiting the best candidates early and organizing the best grassroots networks now. Rush is already plotting for 2010. We can't fall behind.

With the markets tumbling, foreclosures threatening, and health care costs skyrocketing, this country simply cannot afford any more of Rush Limbaugh's scorched-earth politics. We need solutions, not stunts.
Senate Democrats are doing everything in their power to support President Obama's bold agenda for change. If the Republicans won't help, then it's up to us to replace them with more Democrats who will.
That's why the DSCC is gunning for 60 seats in 2010, and that's why Rush Limbaugh and his cronies will stand in our way every step of the way. We need your help to fight back.

Rush Limbaugh has an outsized influence over the actions Senate Republicans take. As long as we don't have 60 seats, they have the power to obstruct everything we try to do.
Limbaugh's outrageous statements have shown that he's diametrically opposed to everything President Obama and the Democratic Party stand for. It's up to us to cast him aside.
Sincerely,
J.B. Poersch
