GENERAL OUTLOOK

Shower and thunderstorm coverage will remain very isolated today as a surface high nudges into the region. Better shower and thunderstorm chances return late this weekend into early next week as two frontal boundaries track across the region. These two systems could bring severe weather on both Sunday and Monday. The heat and humidity return late this weekend into early next week as flow turns southwesterly. A frontal boundary will remained stalled south and east of the forecast area Tuesday through Friday and may act to keep unsettled weather around.
