GENERAL OUTLOOK

Daily thunderstorm chances continue through the week and into the weekend. A few storms could produce damaging wind gusts and localized flash flooding. The pattern favors a potential MCS track for the start of next week. Hot and humid conditions stick around through most of the forecast period.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. The main threat will be localized instances of flash flooding due to excessive rainfall, especially in urban areas as well as poor drainage and low-lying areas. A couple of strong to severe thunderstorm can`t be ruled out.
