Hazardous Weather

A cold front will bring a period of high winds to Macon County later this afternoon and overnight. Power outages are probably with this event as limbs and trees may be blown on to power lines. Now would be a good time to make sure the batteries on your flashlights work. Everyone won't be losing power, but some of us will and it is best to be prepared and not need it than need it and not be prepared.

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for this wind event, and it is posted below.
