Chris Morrow was in court on Tuesday. His misdemeanor case was continued to Jan 9, 2018. There were several supporters present inside and outside the courtroom, including a number who pooled resources for his
bond, with a number of them wearing Shirts with Repent on them. His case was reported on in the Macon County News and WLOS-TV. See both at the links below.

Mission Health reports via a press release that they've purchased an ambulance for Macon County EMS. [LINK]
LOCAL OUTLOOK
A series of low-pressure systems will move along a slow moving cold front through Thursday keeping the weather in our region unsettled. Cold air will filter into our area into late week, dropping temperatures well below average through next weekend. Another system will approach the area late in the weekend.

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Rina, located several hundred miles southeast of Cape Race, Newfoundland.
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.
