MOIST WEST TO NORTHWEST FLOW...AND COLD TEMPERATURES MOVING IN

NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS TONIGHT AND THURSDAY. BY THE TIME SNOW
TAPERS OFF LATE THURSDAY...2 TO 5 INCH SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE
EXPECTED. HIGHER ELEVATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO SEE 3 TO 5 INCHES OF
SNOW...WHILE VALLEY LOCATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO SEE 1 TO 2 INCHES.
A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW
