LOCAL OUTLOOK
High pressure will gradually weaken over the area today as a cold front begins to slowly approach from the northwest. The cold front will cross the southern Appalachians on Tuesday and settle just south of the area on Wednesday. Low pressure will develop along the front near the Carolinas late in the week, while high pressure noses down into the region from the Mid-Atlantic. Another cold front will approach from the northwest next weekend.

The National Hurricane Center has issued the last advisory on Post-Tropical Cyclone Beryl, located several hundred miles north-northeast of Bermuda.
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected for the next five days.
