I cannot believe that I am seeing America fall under dhimmitude to the threats of reprisal from Islamists for simply exercising our rights. Islam demands special treatment above all other religions...it is hard for me to see a people who once stood against the Evil Empire of the Communist Soviet Union bow to the demands of religious pirates.

In World War II, the Battle of France, also known as the Fall of France, was the German invasion of France and the Low Countries, executed on 10 May 1940, which ended the Phoney War. The battle consisted of two main operations. In the first, Fall Gelb (Case Yellow), German armoured units pushed through the Ardennes, to cut off and surround the Allied units that had advanced into Belgium. The British Expeditionary Force (BEF) and many French soldiers were evacuated from Dunkirk in Operation Dynamo. In the second operation, Fall Rot(Case Red), executed from 5 June, German forces outflanked the Maginot Line to attack the greater French territory. Italy declared war on France on 10 June. The French government fled to the city of Bordeaux, and France's main city of Paris was occupied by the GermanWehrmacht on 14 June. On the 17 June, Pétain publicly announced France would ask for an armistice. On 22 June, an armistice was signed between France and Germany, going into effect on 25 June. For the Axis Powers, the campaign was a spectacular victory.[9]France was divided into a German occupation zone in the north and west, a small Italian occupation zone in the southeast, and an unoccupied zone, the zone libre, in the south. A rump state, Vichy France, administered all three zones according to the terms laid out in the armistice. In November 1942, the Axis forces also occupied the zone libre, and metropolitan France remained under Axis occupation until after the Allied landings in 1944; while the Low Countries remained under German occupation until 1944 and 1945.
29 October 2009: A 45 page federal complaint unsealed Wednesday (PDF copy here), the raid on a Detroit warehouse and Detroit area residences, the shootout between mosque leader Luqman Ameen ABDULLAH, a/k/a Christopher THOMAS and law enforcement officials should be sufficient verification of the validity of our previously published investigative and surveillance findings that Islamic terror training is taking place on America soil.
On Wednesday, federal, state and local law enforcement officials raided a suburban Detroit warehouse and at least three Detroit area residences after a federal complaint was unsealed charging eleven-(11) individuals with a variety of crimes relating to Islamic terrorism. During the raid at the warehouse, ABDULLAH, 53, a “homegrown” Black Muslim terrorist and mosque leader fired on authorities as they executed the arrest warrant at that location. Before being killed by authorities, ABDULLAH shot and killed a K-9 dog.
Authorities state that six men are in custody while others remain at large. ABDULLAH, who converted to Islam while in prison, was the Imam of the Masjid Al-Haqq (mosque) in Detroit. The spiritual leader of the group is Jamil Abdullah Al-AMIN, formerly known as H. Rap BROWN, a prominent Black Panther in the late 1960s and early 1970s. BROWN is currently incarcerated for the murder of two police officers in Georgia.
American streets will become the new Islamic Jihad battleground
The information contained within the federal complaint against the Detroit suspects is clear: Islamists in the US are advocating the spread of Islam through the use of violent jihad, and they are utilizing mosques and Islamic centers as their training grounds. The Northeast Intelligence Network has warned about this very issue, and even provided evidence of such activities.
A Muslim organisation has issued a fatwa over mobile phone etiquette, it has been reported.
In the north Indian city of Kanpur a panel of clerics from the Islamic group Jamia Ashraf-ul-Madaris has set new rules over using phones.
The panel objected to the use of aayats (verses from the Koran) as ringtones. It argues that people answer calls midway through the aayat, leave the verse incomplete.
Ghyasuddin, a senior cleric, told the Press Association: "Listening to aayats partially is anti-Islamic. This kind of action amounts to a gunah (sin).
"People should abstain from these practices. It would leave a bad impression on young children."
Mr Ghyasuddin also criticised using mobile phones in the toilet. "If the phone rings and an aayat can be heard in the toilet, it is a sin," he said.
In Islam, a fatwa is a legal decree which is made by someone who has an extensive knowledge of the Sharia law.
The panel also refused to allow people to put their phones on vibrate mode while offering prayers.
"It distracts you while offering prayers. It's disgraceful if one can't even give a peaceful half an hour to Allah," Mr Ghyasuddin said.

"This is for anyone who is remotely interested in the Muslim culture and the Muslim lifestyle," he added.
In another interview with Agence France-Presse, El-Fatatry estimated that 98% of Muxlim.co's users are Muslims. He said the site had about 1.5 million visitors a month from 190 countries, half from the United States.
The virtual Muslim world bans drugs, drinking, sexual behavior, killing and other crimes, making it different from such popular virtual worlds as Second Life and The Sims.

I wonder if they will have religious police that will enforce dress codes on women? The LA Times has reported that drinking and sex have been banned in the virtual Muslim world.

It may be difficult to quantify the impact of a Voltaire vacuum on the continent, but we can instantly see the inequities of British Sharia (I can't believe I'm writing that phrase). Among the first official verdicts were those upholding the Islamic belief in male supremacy. These included an inheritance decision in which male heirs received twice as much as female; and several cases of domestic violence in which husbands were acquitted and wives' charges were dropped.
In a decidedly minuscule minority, I say we ignore the spread of Islamic law across Europe, from the schoolroom to the courtroom, at our peril, particularly given that in so doing, we also ignore the vital political parties that have arisen in reaction to this threat to Western civilization. Why at our peril? Because the same type of liberty-shrinking, Sharia-driven accommodation is happening here.

The jihadis in Europe have taken a page from the lefties and their decades-long march through our institutions. There is still hope for Europe to climb out of the pit, but every day wasted in addressing the problem of Creeping Sharia is a day closer to the destruction of Europe as a contributor to Western Civilization. Every day wasted is a day it will take ever more violent means to ressue Europe from destruction again. If we act within the next decade, that will be the fourth time in a century we will have had to save Europe.
The Archbishop of Canterbury says the adoption of certain aspects of Sharia law in the UK "seems unavoidable".
Dr Rowan Williams told Radio 4's World at One that the UK has to "face up to the fact" that some of its citizens do not relate to the British legal system.
Dr Williams argues that adopting parts of Islamic Sharia law would help maintain social cohesion.
For example, Muslims could choose to have marital disputes or financial matters dealt with in a Sharia court.
He says Muslims should not have to choose between "the stark alternatives of cultural loyalty or state loyalty".
If a man and woman are husband and wife, the Qur’an provides solutions, firstly reaffirming any logical and acceptable reasons for such punishment. These solutions are in gradual phases and not just for women, but for men also.For men, it begins with abandoning the marital bed, by opting to sleep elsewhere in the house. After this, they may discuss the matter with any respected person for the husband’s or the wife’s family, who could be in a position to advise the wife. If this also does not work, then the husband yields to beating the wife slightly. They do this because of a misunderstanding in the Quran, as the word says Darban, which is commonly understood today as beating. However, in Classic Arabic it means to set examples or to announce and proclaim. The more accurate meaning of this last one is that the husband finally has to set forth, to make a clear statement or proclamation, and if these measures fail, then divorce is preferable.
This is a false statement. Qur'an 4:34 tells men to beat their disobedient wives after first warning them and then sending them to sleep in separate beds. It is worth noting how several translators render the key part of this verse, ÙˆَاضْرِبُوهُÙ†َّ, waidriboohunna.
