Mission Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield came to an agreement yesterday in their months-long dispute. Below is a video posted by the Asheville Citizen-Time a few months ago explaining the conflict between Mission Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Cloudy with lows in the 20s and winds 5 to 10 mph out of the northwest. Slight chance of rain, mainly between 4 pm and midnight and possible snow flurries between 10 pm and midnight. Little or no accumulation expected.
THURSDAY
Mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 30s in the higher elevations and the lower 40s in the lower elevations. Winds out of the northwest.
THURSDAY NIGHT
Mostly cloudy with lows ranging from the upper teens in the higher elevations and the lower to mid 20s in the lower elevations. Winds out of the northwest. Slight chance of rain, mainly after midnight. Snow flurries possible after midnight.
FRIDAY
Mostly cloudy with highs ranging from the upper 20s in the higher elevations and the mid-30s in the lower elevations. 40% chance of precipitation. Some places will see rain, others will see some snow, depending on the temperatures. The greatest chance of precipitation (in whatever form) is between noon and 6 pm. If conditions are just right (and they almost never are) we could see up to an inch of snow in places that do not rise above freezing. It is more likely we see no snow accumulating below 3500 feet. Locations east of us and along the North Carolina-Tennessee border stand a better chance of seeing some accumulation out of this than we do.
FRIDAY NIGHT
Mostly cloudy with lows in the 20s. A few locations could drop into the upper teens.
HAZARDS
No hazardous weather is expected today. We could see some snow flurries and snow showers on Friday. The computer models are showing up to an inch is possible in Macon County, but I am skeptical. If we do see snow showers on Friday, please use caution when driving if you have to be out in it.
