Hazardous weather is not expected today or tonight.

An area of low pressure passing to the south of the region is expected to spread wintry precipitation across the area north of a line from Clayton, Georgia, to Greenville, Spartanburg, and Rock Hill in Upstate South Carolina, and Monroe, North Carolina, on Wednesday and Wednesday night, bringing a possible wintry mix to much of the region. Confidence is slowly increasing as to the timing and precipitation type across the area, but amounts look to be relatively low. A light accumulation of snow and sleet is possible across western North Carolina and the northern part of the Upstate. Further developments will determine where, when, and if a Winter Weather Advisory will be issued.
