Warm and dry high pressure moves slowly east out over the Atlantic today. A cold front crosses the area late Thursday bringing showers mainly for the mountains. Cold high pressure moves in Friday and remains in place through Sunday. A cold front arriving on Monday may bring more widespread rain to the area. Cold high pressure builds in on Tuesday.
