A front will stall across the lower Piedmont tonight and remain nearly stationary through Monday. This will provide chances for showers and thunderstorms periodically until high pressure pushes the front south of the area Tuesday. Mild high pressure will settle over the region midweek, then shift to our east by the end of week.
