GENERAL OUTLOOK
Drier air will filter into our region this morning with a secondary cold front. Very windy conditions also will develop and continue into Saturday. Dry and warm weather returns for the weekend into the middle of next week.
The Macon County Board of Commissioners met Tuesday night for their regular April 2024 meeting. Video and supporting documents are posted at [Macon Media]
During a public hearing on a propsed sale of the building and land to a developer, members of the Sugarfork community spoke out against the sale and convinced them to give them a chance to retain the Old Pine Grove School. A non-profit will be formed and they will report back to the commissioners in 30 to 60 days.
