Outlook

A large low-pressure system will lift farther northeast of the region today as dry high pressure spreads over the area and remains in control of our weather through early next week. The next significant low-pressure system will arrive on Thursday and bring more widespread precipitation to the forecast area.

A slight chance of rain and snow showers before 10am, then rain showers likely. Increasing clouds, with a high near 50. Calm winds rising to come out of the south 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Tonight

A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 9pm. Patchy fog before 10pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Winds out of the northwest 5 to 10 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Monday

Sunny, with a high near 50. Winds out of the northwest around 5 mph becoming calm in the morning.

Little or no snow accumulation expected.

A chance of rain showers, possibly mixing with snow after midnight, then gradually ending. Patchy fog between 8pm and 9pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 30 with wind chill values dropping at times into the upper teens. Winds out of the northwest 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
