Here is the news and weather briefing for Macon County.

GENERAL OUTLOOK

A low pressure system will bring cooler temperatures and rain back today, with rain chances lingering into Saturday. High pressure will build in from the north on Sunday into Monday leading to drier weather. A slow moving cold front arrives from the west in mid week with more rain.


A period of high winds and heavy rain will begin this afternoon through early tomorrow afternoon.
