A Whoville Christmas in Franklin
A boy had an idea to get people in his town to come together on Christmas Eve to be together and to sing Christmas Carols like at the end of the "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" movie.

Outlook
Dry high pressure will remain over the region today. This high will interact with a highly moist frontal system Thursday through Friday and produce high amounts of rainfall across the forecast area. The front may become stationary near the area over the weekend and maintain showery activity.

Weather Hazards
Hazardous weather is not expected today. Widespread rain is expected to overspread the area on Thursday and Friday. The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook regarding the potential for flooding later this week. A copy is posted below.

A large low-pressure system will develop to our west and bring another round of widespread, potentially heavy, precipitation to the area for Thursday and Friday. Additional flooding along creeks and streams as well as main stem rivers will be possible.
