The Franklin Town Board of Aldermen met on Monday, April 4, 2016 for their regular April 2016 meeting.

Among the topics discussed by the town board was a presentation regarding a potential use of the Whitmire Property. Since many in town have never heard of the Whitmire Property, Macon Media decided to show people what the Whitmire Property looks like now, after having been in the town's ownership for more than a decade. Here is a short video and some photographs taken at the scene of the property that is bordered by the Highlands Road, First Street, Van Raalte Street and Crane Circle:

Photos can be seen on Flickr.
