Tree Lighting Ceremony Held in Franklin

The annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony was a subdued affair this year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The tree lighting itself was the only public event and the in-person singing and muical performances were not held, along with the carriage rides and Cookies with Santa that are normally sponsored by the Town of Franklin and the Merchants Association. The main focus of the day was a shop local theme. The Nativity Scene installment has been postponed until Monday and a small candelight service will be held at a later date. Below are videos of the annual events in 2018 and 2019.
