Weather Briefing for Friday, December 3, 2021

Here is a truncated weather briefing for today.

GENERAL OUTLOOK

A dry cold front will stall over western North Carolina this morning before lifting back northward as a warm front this afternoon through tonight. The front will push back southward across the area through the weekend, with limited moisture returning over the front on Sunday. A cold front will cross the region from the west on Monday, with dry high pressure briefly following Monday night into Tuesday. A shift to a wetter pattern is expected by the middle of next week as a series of disturbances bring Gulf moisture back into the region.
