Weather Briefing for Monday, July 03, 2023

For the next few days, Macon Media is going to dialback the morning briefing to just include the weather forecast.

GENERAL OUTLOOK

Expect hot and humid conditions to continue into the upcoming week, with chances for pop-up thunderstorms in the afternoons. An organized cluster of storms may affect portions of our region tonight. A weak front early in the week may provide some temporary relief from the high humidity. Temperatures are expected to remain above normal with chances for mostly afternoon showers and thunderstorms through the week.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

Strong thunderstorms will develop this afternoon. A few of these storms will likely become severe and be capable of producing large hail and damaging winds.
