The CDC website [LINK] reports 74,529 people in North Carolina are infected, 1,396 have died, and infections are widespread, the NCDHHS website [LINK] reports 75,875 confirmed cases from 1,071,290 targeted tests, and 989 hospitalized and 1,420 deaths in the state.
