GENERAL OUTLOOK

Gusty winds will continue through late Tuesday as a low pressure system lifts northeast into Canada. Dry and warm high pressure will dominate the weather pattern through the workweek. Unsettled weather returns this weekend as a cold front impacts the region.

Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening ahead of a cold front. The primary threat from any storms that reach severe criteria will be damaging wind gusts. Cloud-to-ground lightning can also be expected with any thunderstorms that develop.

Local speakers include NC State Senator Kevin Corbin, Franklin Chief of Police Holland, and others

Youth provider organizations will be on site to share resources and education
