OVERNIGHT OUTLOOK
Temperatures will drop below freezing overnight and winds should be calm in most of the county except in the higher elevations and on the Highlands Plateau, where winds will be 10 to 15 mph out of the northwest, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
If you plan on going out for the various New Year's celebrations, be sure to bundle up. Be safe and remember to not drink and drive.
