Any Way You Like It (Unless You Are A Christian) in Asheville, NC

This is the second installment in a new series devoted to pointing out the principalities, powers, and spiritual wickedness that has laid claim to Asheville, NC...and operate from it as a stronghold.

Asheville is famous for being a center of satanic New Age activity. The folks at the Buncombe County Tourism Authority want to present Asheville in a positive light, with the newly minted motto, Any Way You Like It, complete with advertising campaign.

Last weekend, Asheville celebrated it's 30th Bele Chere, and people came from all over to the festival, including people wanting to preach the Word of God in a Lost City full of Lost People.

So far, nine videos of the street preaching have been uploaded to you tube, and I took the liberty of making a play list out of them and embedding them here for your edification, especially if you are thinking of moving to, or visiting Asheville with small children:

Note the abuse the people heap upon the preachers. Even the local blogging superstar partook in the activity of mocking those preaching the word of God.

The preachers have a ministry called Pinpoint Evangelism, and if you are interested in supporting financially, here is a checklist to go through before giving to them.

Whether or not you are able to give them financial support, you can support them and their mission in prayer in your role as a Prayer Warrior.

And pray for Asheville, and the people who live there, that they might become convicted of their sin, and turn to God for salvation.

This post is dedicated to those who heed The Great Commission, and go forth to preach on the streets of America.

That is some crazy crap. I couldn't watch anymore it was hurting my ears. These people are gonna get theirs in the end.

I know, that is one crazy town.

A couple of years ago, there was a guy preaching on the corner of College St and Haywood St, and I walked up to him and thanked him for being so bold a witness...and he was totally shocked that some one would give him an attaboy. Asheville is that bad...the regular people are afraid to speak their minds in public.

My blog has been blocked because a number of people have flagged my blog because of this post. I will return once the blog has been unlocked.

Until then, please follow me to WNC Citizens Blog, where I have an alternate blog in case something like this happened.

Note to lefties...you can't stop me...I am a force more powerful than nature, and twice as intelligent!!!
Bwahahahahaha!!!

TP This would be a great program to air on URTV. People need to see just what LIARS these Liberals/Progressive are. The Liberal/Progressive need to be exposed concerning just how "intolerant" of other points of view they truly are.

No Liberal/Progressives aren't more tolerant, they just have different targets of "intolerance." As this on going ridicule, pushing and shoving and being shouted down of this preacher.

Though I may, or may not agree with the organization and the tactics used, he should have been given the courtesy of not being hassled.

Oh brother! What this had happened to a wiccan, buddhist, homosexual, or any other faith or alternative lifestyle? It would be a metaphorical media blood bath.

Hypocrisy anyone??

As one of the street preachers that came to Bele Chere '08 I hope to give another perspective to both the lost and the believer in Jesus Christ. I have reviewed some of the articles and postings related to Bele Chere '08, I was compelled to a bit of blogging for posterity's sake.

I wanted to address some of the issues that many posted about and deal with them specifically and biblically. I will address each major issue with what the Bible says so all may benefit, especially the Christians. If you proclaim yourself a Christian(1 John 3:4) then I would humbly ask that you carefully and biblically research your responses to these posts. For true Christians the Bible and the Holy Spirit teaching are the standards by which we are to measure our faith.(2 Cor 13:5)

It has been supposed by many that a Christian should not judge according to Matt 7:1. Although the verse does say, “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you." A Christian must look at the complete context of this passage, it ishypocritical judgement. Keep reading to vs 5 and you will find that the purpose is to get the plank out so you CAN get the speck out of your brother's eye. This is teaching about sin and should be understood that a Christian can not judge hypocritically. For example, how can I judge one who drinks a too many glasses of wine if I have guzzled a case of Bud-dumber? But, if I have removed the plank then I will judge. Why? Because a Christian must judge! If he can not judge he can not warn of God's judgement to come upon the unbelievers. This is a primary reason why most professing Christians will not share their faith, they are living in active and known sin.

The following verses clearly speak of the Christians requirement to judge rightly:

1 Cor 2:15-16 states, But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

1 Cor 6:2-3 states, "Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?"

John 7:24 states, "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”

What does a Christian judge? I consider myself to be a fruit inspector. Jesus taught bad fruit comes from a bad tree and good fruit from a good tree. So if a person has a filthy mouth, they are drunken, or are professing homosexuality, etc. then those life issues come under the Christian's rightful judgement. Why? To warn the wicked to turn from their sin and turn to Christ for cleansing and forsaking of sin.

When we came to 'Beautiful Living '08, we experienced swearing, pushing, punching, hat stomping, spitting, indecent exposure, and physical threats. Why? Because we pronounced their sinfulness, God's righteousness, and His judgement to come.(John 16:8) Of course, this does not make many friends in America today. But, it does fulfill Jesus' prophecy that a disciple of His will be hated for His Name sake. Jesus said, 'You hate me because I testify of your wicked works.' Friend did you hate us because we told you the truth in love about the wickedness you live in? We plead with you to be reconciled to Christ, that is our mission.
