The North Carolina Republican Senate Committee has opened a new website, I wish them luck...and hope they keep the website and blog updated daily as part of an effort to show their commitment to using that platform and exploiting the power of the Internet instead of just publishing position papers or using it to scrape new email addresses like so many other Republican websites do...
I'll give them one piece of unsolicited advice: E-mail is dead [1] [2]. Don't try to use it as part of your marketing effort.
Use Twitter for communication and RSS as a content distribution method if you wish to join the 21st Century.
