The Federal Aviation Administration has three NOTAMs (Notice To Air Men) in place for our immediate area that restrict aircraft operations near the areas where the wildfires are burning. Aircraft are prohibited from flying through these areas below a certain altitude from 7 am to 8 pm daily from Nov 9th through Dec 9th, 2016 to provide a safe environment for fire fighting aircraft operations. The above image shows a general map of where these flight restrictions are in effect.
