Outlook
Record-level temperatures are expected again today as a deep ridge of high pressure dominates our weather pattern. A backdoor cold front will push through the area tonight, and usher in much cooler temperatures for the weekend. Another cold front will cross the region on Monday, which may bring a little rain to some of the county while reinforcing a cool and dry pattern for much of next week.
State Legislature
The Senate nor the House will be convening sessions today. However, the General Statutes Commission will be meeting at 10:00 am.
Links to where you can listen live and follow along with what the legislators are discussing are online. [LINK]
Due to technical difficulties, Macon Media will not be able to record or archive audio of these meetings or write summaries of actions taken by the legislature.
