Outlook

Dry high pressure will dominate the local weather pattern this weekend, but an unsettled weather pattern will develop by early Monday as a cold front approaches. Rain is likely Monday and Tuesday, possibly changing to snow in the North Carolina mountains early Wednesday. Dry and cold high pressure will return behind the front.
