The Macon County Fire Marshal's Office has sent out a press release regarding a structure fire on Marion Thomas Road that occurred early Sunday morning.

Fire caused significant damage to a residence at 115 Marion Thomas Road in Otto early Sunday morning. Otto Fire and Rescue responded to the residence around 3 A.M. The fire is believed to have originated near a wood stove. Three occupants were home at the time but no injuries were reported. Otto was assisted by Clarks Chapel and West Macon Fire Departments.
