A cold front will cross the region this morning ushering in much cooler and drier air through early next week. A warming trend is expected to develop by the middle of next week, as dry conditions continue. Another cold front may approach by Friday, bringing showers and slightly cooler temperatures.

* IMPACTS...Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Frost will be especially prevalent in sheltered areas where winds will die off earliest in the night. This includes many valleys and low spots.
