Sheltered locations in mountain valleys are expected to develop areas of frost again Sunday night into Monday morning.

* WHAT...Temperatures as low as 35 will result in frost formation.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast Georgia, and the mountains and foothills of western North Carolina.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM EDT this morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Frost will be especially prevalent in sheltered areas where winds will die off earliest in the night. This includes many valleys and low spots. The higher elevations may see freezing temperatures as well. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
