Who Mourns For Obama?

What is up with the Obama people channeling Star Trek episodes?

They have built a Greek Temple for Obama to appear in as he is presented before his worshippers supporters and makes his apotheosis acceptance speech...

Read what Fausta says about it below:

Yes. A Greek temple for the Messiah! Come to think of it, how appropriate a send-off for a candidate whose proposed economic policies will send us to prehistoric times.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s big speech on Thursday night will be delivered from an elaborate columned stage resembling a miniature Greek temple.

The stage, similar to structures used for rock concerts, has been set up at the 50-yard-line, the midpoint of Invesco Field, the stadium where the Denver Broncos’ National Football League team plays.

Some 80,000 supporters will see Obama appear from between plywood columns painted off-white, reminiscent of Washington’s Capitol building or even the White House, to accept the party’s nomination for president.

He will stride out to a raised platform to a podium that can be raised from beneath the floor.

Silly, Thunder Pig.

Maybe you've missed the fact that most of Washington D.C. uses Greek influenced architecture and that Obama's speech will occur on the anniversary of MLK's "Dream" speech, which took place on the steps of the very Greek Lincoln Memorial.

You guys just don't have any issues to run on. It's too sad.

Gordon:

Who doesn't know his architecture?

The Greek Temple at Invesco is curved and the Lincoln Memorial is straight.

This is ripe for Alinsky's Rule #5...Ridicule...and it is a very potent weapon indeed.

Just be glad I didn't bring up the striking resemblance to a Nazi Rally at Nuremberg this event is...

A figure raised on a pedestal at night, surrounded by thousands of people chanting a name...hmmm...

Oh please.

Your willingness to smear is indicative of the Party you support. Whether it's legitimizing Jerome Corsi or making specious comparisons to Nazi Germany it's clear there's no low you'll refuse to sink to.

By the way...
