Outlook

An active and wet weather pattern will be in place for much of the upcoming forecast period. A very slow-moving low-pressure system will approach the area from the west through the weekend. A cold front will finally push through on Wednesday, bringing in some drier
air from the west.

Weather Hazards

An active pattern will set up across the region today through the weekend and into Monday. With multiple days of moderate to heavy rainfall, the threat of flash flooding will increase. Also, a few strong storms may produce gusty winds.


**Note** A Tropical Weather Outlook section has been added to the daily weather briefing for the Atlantic Hurricane Season, and since those tend to run long when there is activity, that section has been added between the daily forecasts for the four regions of the county and the almanac section so people can get to their daily forecasts with minimal interference.
