Weather Hazards
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop across the mountains this afternoon and move east across the area into the early evening. Any of these thunderstorms will have the potential to produce frequent cloud to ground lightning, heavy rainfall, and gusty winds. A few of these thunderstorms could become severe, with damaging wind gusts the main threat.
