Hazardous Weather Outlook
Macon County is under a winter weather advisory for extreme cold weather until 7 a.m. today. However, temperatures will remain below normal for the next 24 hours or so as temperatures climb to reach seasonal norms.
Outlook
Dry and very cold high pressure will remain over the region through today. A low pressure system developing along the Gulf coast will increase rain chances for the end of the week through the weekend.
