COVID-19 Update for March 25th

North Carolina is reporting deaths from the coronavirus. A 70-plus-year-old Cabarrus County resident and a 60-plus-year-old person from Virginia who was traveling through North Carolina died on Tuesday of complications from COVID-19, the illness associated with the virus. [WRAL-TV]  


A worker for the City of Raleigh has become the third death (most outlets, the CDC and the State DHHS are not counting the person from Virginia who died in Cabarrus County as a death in North Carolina) in the state. [WRAL-TV]

The CDC website [LINK] reports 636 people in North Carolina are infected with 2 deaths and that the infections are spreading person-to-person, the NCDHHS website [LINK] https://www.ncdhhs.gov/covid-19-case-count-nc also reports 636 cases and 2 deaths in the state. The Johns Hopkins Dashboard [LINK] reports 755 people infected and 3 deaths.
