Weather Hazards
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms may develop across the area this afternoon and evening. If the storms develop, the main threat would be cloud-to-ground lightning and gusty winds. However, if the storms develop, a few might be strong to severe, with large hail and damaging wind gusts. The threat should end during the early evening across most of the area, except for the mountains near the Tennessee border, where a few strong storms may arrive from the west toward daybreak Friday.
