Dry high pressure will continue over the western Carolinas and northeast Georgia through the weekend and through most of next week. Temperatures will steadily warm through the period, reaching about 15 degrees above normal by the middle of next week. A cold front will approach the region from the northwest on Thursday and may settle into or through the area on Friday, but likely with limited moisture.
