Franklin Town Council Holds Regular Monthly Meeting for May 2019
Council Votes Unanimously to Give Mound to Nikwasi Initiative

The Franklin Town Council met Monday evening for their regular monthly meeting for May 2019. Video and other supporting documents are online at https://thunderpigblog.blogspot.com/2019/05/franklin-town-council-holds-regular.html A copy of the proposed town budget will be added to the same article later this morning.

The council will be holding a budget work session on May 20th at 5:30pm in the lower level of the town hall.

Outlook

High pressure will remain in control of our weather into midweek. As this high moves off the Carolina coast, a southerly flow of moist air will increase the clouds and chances for rain. Isolated to scattered showers and a few storms will affect the mountains Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. As a cold front drifts into our area from the northwest over the weekend, more widespread showers and storms can be expected.
