It's that time of year again. At 2am on Sunday morning, we will switch from Standard Time to Daylight Saving Time and it become 3am. If you have manual clocks that aren't connected to a computer, move them ahead an hour before going to bed to avoid confusion the next morning. Also, be a little bit more attentive the next week or so after the time change due to the increased chance of automobile accidents that occur when we switch times.
Not everyone is happy with the twice-annual ritual of moving our clocks by an hour and there has been legislation in Congress to change that situation. [LINK] There is also a bill in the NC Senate to change North Carolina to Daylight Saving Time year-round. [Senate Bill 39]
